About CÍ

CÍ is for people who care about making things well.

We work with makers, independent studios, and creative brands, offering tools, custom solutions, and support that are meant to last. Over time, we’ve come to believe that most people don’t need things that are more complicated, more decorative, or more overthought. They need tools they can rely on. Tools that work well, wear in well, and still deserve a place on the bench years later.

CÍ was founded by twin sisters whose lives took them in very different directions. After graduating from the University of the Arts London, the elder sister spent years working in tech. Somewhere between long hours, screens, and the speed of digital work, making things by hand became a way back to something slower and more real. CÍ grew out of that return to materials, tools, and the satisfaction of working with your hands.

Today, one sister lives in Nuremberg and the other in Shanghai. But distance has never changed the instinct behind CÍ. We’ve always been drawn to things that feel useful, honest, and well made. And after working with makers, studios, and small brands from many different places, that instinct has only become clearer.

We believe good tools should earn their keep. They should hold up, stay useful, and make the work a little better, day after day. That belief shapes what we offer and how we work.
