The Yorkshine M390 French Edger is made for thinning leather in controlled strips, especially around card pockets, gussets, raised edges, fold lines and areas where a normal skiving blade feels too broad or hard to steer.
The Z-shaped handle keeps your hand slightly lifted from the bench, giving you more room to adjust the angle as you push. The polished inside channel helps the tool glide through the flesh side of the leather more smoothly, so you can remove material without digging in too aggressively.
