The uppercase letter A is approximately 8mm high, with lowercase letters, numbers and symbols scaled proportionally to match. Compared with smaller type sets, this 8mm size creates a clearer, bolder impression, making it a great choice for luggage tags, leather labels, notebook covers, packaging details, gift personalisation, and any project where the stamped text needs to stand out.
Alongside the standard typefaces shown on this page, we can also support custom fonts. If you have a specific typeface in mind, simply email us with the font name, reference image, or font file, and we’ll be happy to check whether it can be made.
This brass type set is designed to work with Maxita Holder No. 1 and MOVEGO hot foil stamping machines. For other hot foil stamping machines, compatibility may depend on the holder size and machine structure. The walnut storage box is part of the full set, not just an add-on. It is made to fit this 8mm brass type neatly, helping keep your letters, numbers and symbols organised and easy to pick up while you work. It can also be used with other brass type or stamps with a base size within 14mm, making it a practical storage option for a wider hot foil stamping setup.
